About Artisan Photography by Rick Fielding

Rick has been a professional photographer for the past thirty-six years. He started his career while attending college majoring in photography and working for a studio in Spokane. He then moved to Seattle and managed a photography studio for the next six years. While in Seattle, Rick joined the Professional Photographers of America as well as the Professional Photographers of Washington and competed with his peers winning awards for his photography.

He also has attended many photography classes with some of the best photographers in our nation studying their techniques and applying some of these techniques to his own style of photography.

Rick moved back to his home town - Yakima in 1981 and started his own studio - "Rick's Photography" - where he continued to photograph weddings, family portraits, seniors and many other events.

In 1992 Rick moved to Oregon and returned to his home town in 2000 where he has been ever since. The studio name has changed, but the excellence of his photography skills has continued to evolve.
